Good question! First, you must understand that scientists have believed that much radical fight anti oxidants compounds found in fruits and vegetables could move the effects of cancer for quite some time. Of course this is only theory, but we all know that our parents told us that eat our carrots and beans "when we were kids and most of the science evolves, more we realize how good advice, it really was. Over the last decade, has been widely reported, (and quite well accepted) that dark berries, black, blue and even strawberries, cherries and pomegranates were among the forefront of foods that might one day be able to protect us from diseases.

The Acai Berry, for all and incredible health benefits, also has anywhere from 10-30 times the antioxidant value of all super foods more and is believed to be partly responsible for the good health of the people that collect and eat regularly is in the Amazon.

But what about cancer?

The University of Florida conducted a study several years ago, showed that the ACAI had destroyed up to 85% of cancer cells in a test tube. Is this exciting? Absolutely, Yes! But also careful not to make any outrageous claims as a result of the tests, which were just promising. What happened next? Of course, you can guess, right? Marketing manipulation anywhere, took that bit of good news and became an avalanche of opportunities, claims which were not credible, but also, in my opinion, quite unethical to boot!
